Regiment and number is ideal, but anything on his date of birth, where he came from, name of his next of kin, etc are all valuable.

Please let us know of any documents that you have that you may be able to send to us

I do not need copies of service or medal records if you have obtained them via the internet, as long as you have let me know the soldier’s name, regiment, number, etc. But if you have photographs, original documents or work you have done on family history I would of course be eager to see them. Let me know and we will advise how to send them when I confirm your order.

Is there anything of specific interest to you?

I strive to provide as complete detail about his military service, together with enough family and personal background to provide context. But if you are really hoping for something to come out – for example, to confirm the name of a sibling or the man’s date or place of birth – then please do let me know.
