Napoo!

“Napoo!” was British soldier’s slang of the First World War. From the French “Il n’y a plus” it meant “there is no more” or “finished”. “Napoo rum”, “napoo bully beef”, “napoo Fritz”.

“Napoo!” is also the title of my occasional newsletter, drawing articles from recent additions to the Long, Long Trail; from my private work on researching soldiers; from my recent book and other reviews; and helped by friends and other willing contributors. It is free of charge.
