Assistance with academic research
We are regular visitors to the principal military archives of the
United Kingdom and can provide assistance with your research project.
Although some archives now themselves provide a service for looking
up documents and providing copies, this is not the case with all
of them. If you have a thesis, dissertation, paper, book, lecture
or similar project and require reference to primary sources, we are
here to help.
For example, we have access to
- The National Archives, Kew
- The Department of Documents at the Imperial War Museum
- The Liddell Hart Centre for Military Archives at King's College
- The Archives Centre at Churchill College, Cambridge
- The British Library
- The County Record Offices of the United Kingdom
If you know the reference you need and require a copy or transcript,
we can provide it.
If you are not quite at that stage and wish to determine what is
there that may be useful, or have a "trail" to follow, we can do
that too.
We'll provide first-class copies or transcripts, with full academic
citation.
Save yourself a journey and time.
